On my new computer, no move ever occurred. before opening the game file, go to the Options menu > emulator > save type and set its to 128k not 64k.

Even though I tried to reassociate the ROM's with the emulator, they wouldn't take until I had it back in its original place so that it had its old filepath.

With my old computer, it was because I was reorganizing all my programs into more specific folders. The thing is, less than two weeks ago when I was playing my ROM's and hacks, it worked just fine. When I click on SMC files to open the ROM's, I get the "Open With" dialogue box.

Just go to the folder where the save file is and type: copy /b savefile.sav+savefile.sav paddedsave.sav. sav file the exact same name as the dragon ball z team training rom. okay for some reason it only worked on emerald. Though the easiest solution I have for making a 64k save work for a game that calls for 128k is to pad the file. Go into your folder containing that save file.
